Alison was nervous about purchasing in Turkey alone and had been searching for over one year.  Here's what she had to say:

This was potentially one of the most nerve-wracking things I would ever do…..

 

I had wanted to buy a property in Turkey for a long time, but I had heard so many bad reports of how people had lost everything. So to say I was apprehensive was an understatement.

 

I had been surfing the Internet for over a year and had seen hundreds of properties I liked the look of, but taking that first initial step was daunting. I was buying on my own, making big decisions on my own and maybe making the biggest mistake of my life.

 

I decided not to take advantage of the one agent bargain viewing trips, I wanted to pay for everything myself and then I wouldn’t be beholden to anybody and feel I must buy from them. I contacted several agencies and arranged a daily viewing with each. Telling myself “don’t be talked into anything, you have several agents to see and if you don’t see anything this visit you can always come back again”.

 

Joyce at Global was one of the agents I contacted, and I liked her instantly. She was warm, chatty and friendly. I told her I was arranging to see several agents whilst in Turkey and it wouldn’t just be her properties I was looking at, but she said it wasn’t a problem. She found me an apartment to rent and arranged for me to be picked up at the airport. Mustafa and Ali were waiting for me when I arrived and they were as warm and friendly as Joyce.

 

I arranged to meet them the following morning for the first of my planned viewings.   I went to see some lovely properties including two beautiful apartments, both of which were overlooking the pool with huge balconies, and both were completely different from each another.

 

Ali and Mustafa just stepped back and let me look, they were so laid back it was unbelievable.  No pointing out the goods bits, great investment potential… large rooms…south facing.. blah blah blah They just smiled and let me get on with it.

It was great.  I asked the usual questions and they were honest and straightforward with their answers.

 

Whilst having lunch and discussing some of the properties we had seen so far, Ali said to me “You will know when it is the right one for you, will feel it in your heart”.  He was right, they took me to see a little house in Mavesehir and I fell in love immediately.  I knew then I didn’t need to see anything else.

 

Within days everything was complete. The guys could not have been more helpful; nothing was too much trouble for them. The procedure was a dream and the Property Global/MPInvestments Company is a delight.

 

I couldn’t recommend them highly enough.
